Hiya!
My name’s Biru and I’m a Senior Sound Designer at Bungie.
I treat audio as a core part of the game experience, always thinking through the lens of the player and how sound supports clarity, immersion, and moment-to-moment decision-making.
My work centers on systems and identity, whether that’s characters, abilities, or the interactive world itself. I’m especially interested in how narrative worldbuilding and audio design can work together to communicate information naturally while reinforcing tone, personality, and a strong sense of place.
I enjoy working early and closely with creative and technical partners to help shape direction and implementation that can scale as development evolves. I also spend a lot of time in-engine, using technical implementation and scripting to keep iteration fast, reduce downtime, and support more responsive audio workflows.
When my headphones are off, you can find me hanging with Nicole Kidman, eating hot chicken and Zingers, or working out to compensate for said Zingers.
